Meet the New Library Mascot
Tagged:

Kit the Fresno County Library MascotKit the Fox is clever, curious and cool, and he’s the Library’s #1 fan!  In fact, Kit loves the Library so much that one day he volunteered to serve as the Library’s new goodwill mascot — and the rest is history!

Kit visits his local branch in the foothills of Fresno County quite often.  He especially enjoys checking out books about nature and animals or browsing the local history collection to learn about the community where he grew up.  One of his favorite books is Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss, although Kit admits that any book with “fox” in the title is sure to catch his eye.  Kit is very popular with the librarians who can’t help but smile when they remember his excitement on the day he received his very first library card.

Now Kit can share his love of libraries and literacy with everyone when he travels the County as the new Library mascot. Kit was introduced in October, when he became the official new mascot for the Fresno County Public Library. Kit will travel the County to visit community events, Library programs and other activities.
